On the average, every day,the female and male adult eat fresh oak leaves of 85.94~222.63 mg (7.8~18.1 cm2) and 19.53~59.53 mg(1.26~4.84 cm2) respectively, and excrete faeces 36.87~70.68mg (dry weight)(30.1~57.7 grains) and 10.36~16.65mg (dry weight) (41.45~66.58 grains) respectively. Moreover, it has been proved that the time the adult could live through under hungry conditions is closed related to temperature and relative hunmidity and the female could live longer time than that of the male under hungry conditions.
