Abstract:In order to compare the testis morphology in Coreoidea, we observed the morphology of testis of 9 species belonging to 3 family 4 subfamily 6 genera of Coreoidea by dissecting microscope. The results showed that the membrane of testis and vas deferens in Coreoidea with different colors. The testis of Rhopalidae Rhopalinae Myrmus, Coreidae Coreinae Cletus, Mictinae Anoplocnemis, Alydidae Alydinae Megalotomus, Rhopalidae Rhopalinae Stictopleurus and Rhopalus present small ovoid, similar triangle, small spherical and long vertebral (cylindrical) shape, respectively. The size of testis is inversely proportional with the body size. The shape, size, color and thickness of testis in Coreoidea can be used for genus, subfamily and family level classification.
