Exploration on Teaching Reform of Wildlife Science Based on Major Position

Abstract:On the basis of major position, course teaching is a prerequisite for establishing the teaching system and improving the teaching effect in a course of universities. For students of non-biological majors, wildlife science needs to determine teaching contents, teaching methods and teaching evaluation according to professional training objectives and characteristics of students. Based on subject cultivation targets, teaching contents were adjusted, and teaching methods were explored by interesting teaching, research learning and case discussion in the teaching reform of wildlife science for the major of tourism management. Finally, it was suggested that teaching reform of wildlife science should be connected with the efforts from three levels of teacher, college and university, by summarizing the teaching experiences and lessons.
